Dr. Janet DuBois graduated from Smith College
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. She
obtained her medical degree from the University of
Texas, Medical School at San Antonio where she was
elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor
Society. She completed both her internship in
Internal Medicine and her residency in Dermatology
at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland,
Ohio. She was Chief Resident her third and final
year of residency.
Dr. DuBois practiced for three years at Group
Cooperative of Puget Sound in Seattle, Washington
where she served on the clinical faculty of the
University of Washington, School of Medicine. She
moved with her family to Austin in 1994 and has been
in private practice here since. She is past Chief
of Dermatology for the Seton Hospital Network and
currently serves on the Board of Directors of the
Loloma Foundation (www.lolomafoundation.org).
Dr. DuBois’s participation with the Loloma
Foundation takes her to remote villages in the South
Pacific to do medical mission work.
Dr. DuBois is Board Certified through the American
Board of Dermatology and holds memberships with the
American Academy of Dermatology, the American
Medical Association, the Texas Dermatological
Society, the Travis County Medical Society, and the
Dermatology Foundation Leader Society. As a mother,
Dr. DuBois balances her career and her many
interests and passions with her three children. She
is committed to delivering comprehensive, high
quality, dermatologic care to patients of all ages
and walks of life. |
